Manager of the Collaboratory

History

After graduating from St. Cloud State University (St. Cloud, MN), Deborah served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Cheboksary, Western Russia (2001-03) and as a Christian English teacher with TeachOverseas.org (TOO) in Sevastopol, Ukraine (2003-04). She returned to the US in 2004 in order to attend Fuller Theological Seminary and to join the staff of TOO. Deborah served as the Regional Director for TOO’s programs in Russia and Central Asia while completing her program at Fuller.

Deborah joined the Collaboratory on May 1, 2007. She first heard about the Collaboratory from Dr. Chris Staecker, a former professor of mathematics at Messiah (both Chris and his wife, Jen, also served overseas with TOO).
