Jason Shortall

Position

Jason is a Communications Group Member and a member of the Wireless Enabled Remote Co-presence team.

History

After joining the Collaboratory in the Spring of 2008 by taking the IPC Group Orientation class, Jason has continued to be involved throughout 2008 and 2009. In the Fall of 2008 in Project 1, Jason started work with Adelani Osunsakin on the WERC project presented by The Symbionyx Foundation. Research and testing continued throughout the year, along with project testing at Hilltop Academy and presentations at the Engineering Advisory Board and Student Scholars Expo. Throughout Jason and Ade's senior year development of a new prototype for the WERC project will continue.

Training

Jason has obtained the Technician Level Amateur Radio Licence and his radio call sign is KB3RCV.

Roles & responsibilities

Jason is currently in the Integrated Projects Course Project II and a member of the WERC Project
