Team purpose
The purpose of this trip was to install a photovoltaic power system to provide electricity to a missionary home, a guest house, a teacher’s house, and a small school house. The electricity was also to be used by the local church for lighting. In addition there is a photovoltaic pumping system that was installed to provide drinking water to these buildings. The system was designed, tested, and shipped by DE members and paid for by the missionaries.

Team verse
One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, "Of all the commandments, which is the most important?" "The most important one” answered Jesus, "is this: 'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.' (NIV, Mark 12:28-30)

Other news
"The Mozambique team was able to see God move in the team and the people we ministered to. We as a team saw God's hand of provision by helping parts of our work go much smoother than expected. We also saw him help us through hold ups in the installation. It was so exciting to see what God was doing in the church in Mozambique Since the war in Mozambique has stopped the church has had freedom to grow and God is being glorified in new areas and new hearts. We were able to help this by doing a food distribution to 5 remote churches where the food staples are low as they wait for harvest. We also had the opportunity to help at a clinic for prenatal care. It was exciting to serve them and also to worship with them in the meeting after the clinic. The team grew in learning how to deal with technology in a foreign land but we were also challenged to grow in God as we saw God reveal himself to us in the people we interacted with. Thank you for your prayers and your support." --Joel Travis
