Rationale - Quality assurance requires personnel, project commitments, and funding in proper proportion. Too few people overworks personnel and diminishes quality; too many has caused Groups to invent new projects for the surplus.

Goal - To help all Groups to be right sized, and facilitate the recruiting of personnel most qualified to serve the Group's approved project.

Policy (This is a draft policy.)

  1. Group Leaders will determine the number of persons required on each approved Project Team and other persons required to complete the work of the Group.
  2. Group Leaders will provide the total number of personnel desired, with rationale, to the Leadership Meeting for approval.
  3. Group Leaders may accept up to 125% of the approved number of persons into their Group. Admission of additional persons must be approved by the Leadership Committee.

Group Leaders are encouraged to evaluate the needs of their own and other Groups relative to the gifts and abilities of applicants when deciding whether or not bring personnel into the Group, and to direct applicants to the Group where they are best suited and most needed for service.
