History

  • Joined DE in Fall semester of 2004
  • Worked on the development of an arsenic filter for West Asia
  • Became team leader of Africa team in Fall semester of 2005
  • Became leader of the Mali Water and Disabilities Study in Fall semester of 2006

Training

  • Leadership Development Class (Spring 2005)
  • Senior electrical engineering student

Roles & responsibilities

  • Lead the Mali Water and Disabilities Study
  • Work in the Latrine and Domestic Water Use subteam to develop tools and methods to make domestic water and latrine use easier for people with disabilities in Mali.

Trips

  • Traveled to Burkina Faso in January, 2006 on a water research team

Notes

  • The Mali Water Project is currently finishing the research stage and moving into the development stage of this three-year project.
