SMART Goals 

 Assignment: SMART goals 

Description

This assignment focuses on your ability to write (and hopefully achieve) SMART goals in relation to your project work. The idea is to provide you with a graded opportunity to practice writing SMART goals in the setting of a real project task. 

Requirements

1.Identify the project you are working on 2.Write a brief (1-2) sentence summary of the task you were asked to do 3.Write a set of one or more SMART goals which you will use to evaluate your completion of this task

  • Remember to address all five aspects of the SMART acronym
  • Multiple sentence goals are allowed, but try to be concise

4. Turn in a printed, word-processed version of the above items

  • Use a legible font and font size
  • Remember to include your name and the date
  • A printed wiki page is acceptable

If you like, you may write SMART goals for multiple tasks. No extra credit will be given for turning in multiple sets, but this will give you the opportunity to get instructor feedback on these goal sets if you like. 

Due Date

September 17, 2009

Remember to meet in Frey 252 during the regularly scheduled lab session to turn in assignments.
