Talk:Leadership

From The Collaboratory

There is a general requirement for passing on documentation to the next leader. Is there a page that discusses some procedures to pass on this documentation. JTravis 13:02, 1 March 2007 (PST)

The "What is leadership?" paragraph is not adequate.

It doesn't discuss other aspects of leadership. Skills need to be addressed. JPatrick 15:13, 1 March 2007 (PST)

The page is good as is....I think it understood that the type of leadership defined is what the Collaboratory is looking for...yes there are other types of leaders, but the Collaboratory is looking for a leader with the said qualities and therefore does not really need to define other types of leadership.Abetteridge 19:00, 1 March 2007 (PST)

some of the clearly difined responsibilities that we talked about last Thursday are spelled out in the Group Leader Job Description. With the job descriptions laying the practical tasks the overall leadership page seems to be fine with being the way that it is. JTravis 07:51, 5 March 2007 (PST)

The question of the day is what is the purpose of that paragraph i agree there really is no 'go home' message there. It vaguely describes the ideal of one aspect of leadership. There is very little on how a leader should server or interact with those above or below them. Also very little on sharing or dispersing the vision. Dverlander 05:44, 14 March 2007 (PST)

Only a single aspect of leadership, an idealized model, is addressed. There are more aspects of who a leader is and what leadership requires than what is clarified or envisioned here. More could be said on how we transmit God's vision through leadership. Could contain some more description to clarify aspects pointed out. Cburd
