Start Time

the start time needs to be changed to 5:30...also if you want to add the location its Frey 110 Recruiting Meeting Wednesday August 30th 6:00PM to 8:00PM.

Link descriptions

What do we think of the way Lindsay has handled the description for "Leaders and Advisors"? My first reaction is the brief description seems more useful. You can clik on the link and find out what is in there in the time it takes to read the longer description. What do others think?

If we want to go with longer descriptions then descriptions of the other links also need to be beefed up. Dvader 14:41, 6 September 2006 (PDT)

I agree. Shorter descriptions are better. And, to keep with conventions, don't add a period at the end. It's a little thing, but people (like me) notice ;). Also, because it wraps around (at least on my screen) it takes up more real-estate on the front page, which is a bit unattractive, especially when there's a lot on the 'upcoming events' sidebar. I'll give it until tommorrow (9/7/06), and if no one's changed it by then I'll take care of it. JPatrick 15:02, 6 September 2006 (PDT)

Prayer requests vs. Prayer Requests

Just a thought - in order to set a good example, should we keep the Prayer requests link with the second word lowercase? It sets a good example, and the other links on the main page follow the correct capitalization scheme. (I know the page link is actually correct, but should we make it visibly correct as well?) Minor Adjustment

I am proposing changing the "Groups" link to "Application Groups", and removing Staff from that page. My reasoning is that there is a "Staff services" link right below "Groups". This would make things a little clearer. Just a minor change, any comments? JPatrick 08:14, 4 June 2007 (EDT)
